Frequently asked questions

What are credits and how do they work?

Credits are the units used to measure your usage of Kodo CLI. Each interaction with an AI model consumes a certain number of credits depending on the model and the length of your request. You can monitor your credit usage in real-time from the CLI.

Can I switch between plans at any time?

Yes! You can upgrade from On Demand to Pro at any time, and your remaining On Demand credits will carry over. If you downgrade, your Pro benefits remain active until the end of your billing cycle.

Which AI models are included?

Both plans include access to Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (GPT), and Google models. The Pro plan additionally gives you access to Grok, DeepSeek, and all future models we add — at no extra cost.

Is there a free trial?

We offer a generous free tier with 1,000 credits so you can try Kodo CLI before committing. No credit card required — just install and start building.

What happens when I run out of credits?

On the On Demand plan, you simply purchase another credit pack. On the Pro plan, you can set up auto-renewal or purchase additional credit packs at a discounted rate.

Do you offer team or enterprise pricing?
